On Saturday 31st July 2010, from the hours of 10.00 to 21.00 London will host the Largest Brazilian Event in Europe, a Free Entry Festival called Brazilian Day in London. Hosted at The O2, Meridian Gardens with Folkloric and regional shows presented at The O2, Peninsular Square. The festival will celebrate, and promote genuine Brazilian culture through: music, dance, food, drink and tourism.

This year Brazilian Day will be even bigger and better than last year's success. The music will appeal to a wide international audience with irresistible rhythms and beats drawing people together. Well known artists will be flown in from Brazil, including 'Fundo de Quintal' and 'Cesar Menotti e Fabiano'. They will be performing along with Brazilian artists that reside in the UK and will be showcasing the enormous diversity of Brazilian music with styles such as Forro, Samba, Pagode and MPB (Brazilian Pop). Serginho Groisman will once again be leading the way as the main presenter of Brazilian Day London 2010 which we are very happy to announce will be held in the Meridian Gardens and Peninsular Square at The O2, London.

FESTIVAL BRAZIL 2010

The Southbank Centre in London is hosting a summer-long Brazilian arts festival featuring musical icons such as Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia, Os Mutantes and Tom Zé; Brazilian visual arts in the Hayward Gallery; design from the Campana brothers; and talks with writer Milton Hatoum and ex-footballer Socrates.

Brighton Carnival 2010 brings all the energy and good vibes of our Brighton's based band: Maracatu Cruzeiro do Sul Live at the parade! Lead by Paul Dodd, Cruzeiro do Sul will be performing authentic Brazilian Northeastern music.
